EDI's perceptionsplusOTI™ survey is a
multi-rater feedback tool designed to assess perceptions of key organization-,
team- and individual-level issues. EDI's survey team will work with clients to
create a survey that is customized to address their specific business issues
and needs in the context of their unique business environment, strategy, and
culture. Examples of common organization-level inquiries include gauging
employees' understanding of and commitment to the organization's vision,
identifying perceived barriers to achieving the vision with recommendations for
overcoming them, and establishing critical business issues and/or decisions
facing the organization. Common team-level issues include assessing perceptions
of the leadership team on a number of dimensions (e.g., conflict management,
decision making, etc.), and common individual-level issues include assessing
perceptions of key leaders in terms of their perceived strengths and areas for
development.
After developing the customized perceptionsplusOTI™
survey, EDI's survey team will administer the survey. Administration can be
done via the web, via paper-and-pencil format, or via one-on-one interviews
with an EDI survey team member. After administration, data will be consolidated
and, if requested, broken down by rater group (e.g., departments, levels,
locations, etc.). Next, a series of trends analyses will be performed to
identify patterns in the survey responses. Finally, a custom, comprehensive
perceptionsplusOTI™ Survey Report will outline
practical recommendations for addressing each identified trend and for
involving key constituents in the action planning, communication, and change
management processes.
The perceptionsplusOTI™ tool can also be
integrated with EDI's other professional solutions, such as Strategic
Planning, Business Planning, Culture Change,
Leadership Development Programs,
Teambuilding/Team Coaching, Team Skills Training,
and Team Communication Planning.
EDI's perceptionsplusDUEDILIGENCE™ survey is a
multi-rater feedback tool designed to tap concerns specific to the due
diligence and integration phases of a merger or acquisition. All too often due
diligence efforts focus exclusively on obtaining financial information and/or
information "on the record" and fail to give sufficient consideration to an
organization's intellectual and human capital. Human assets, unlike financial
assets, don't show up on the balance sheet but are as important to the success
of a merger or acquisition. EDI's survey team will work with clients to create
a survey that is customized to address their specific business issues and needs
in the unique context of the merger or acquisition. Examples of common
M&A-related issues include determining employees' understanding of and
commitment to the strategy behind the merger or acquisition, identifying
perceived barriers to integration (e.g., "culture clashes") with
recommendations for overcoming them, and clarifying critical business issues
and/or decisions facing the combined organization.
After developing the customized perceptionsplusDUEDILIGENCE™
survey, EDI's survey team will administer the survey. Administration can be
done via the web, via paper-and-pencil format, or via one-on-one interviews
with an EDI survey team member. After administration, data will be consolidated
and, if requested, broken down by rater group (e.g., organization, levels,
locations, etc.). Next, a series of trends analyses will be performed to
identify patterns in the survey responses. Finally, a custom Integration
Plan will delineate practical recommendations for
addressing each identified trend and for involving key constituents in the
action planning, communication, and change management processes in order to
facilitate successful integration.
The perceptionsplusDUEDILIGENCE™ tool can also
be integrated with EDI's other professional solutions, such as
Strategic Planning, Business Planning, Culture
Change, Merger and Acquisition Integration,
Leadership Development Programs, Teambuilding/Team
Coaching, Team Skills Training, and
Team Communication Planning.
